Pay It Forward | Coffin Hop

Sunset Tree

October is often marked as the month for monsters, ghosts, witches, and anything that will have you sleep with your lights on.

I am a fan of scary stories and movies and if you are too, then this post is for you!

The hauntingly artistic and thrilling Jeanette at HorrorMade.com is graciously accepting submissions to showcase in this year’s Coffin Hop during her highest traffic days.

COFFIN HOP is the annual Horror Author event, geared towards gaining exposure for indie horror and genre authors, and increasing interaction with fans and readers…Now, every year, from the 24th to the 31st of October, you can join hundreds of the best Indie and small press horror authors, as well as artists, bloggers, reviewers and more, for a week of fun, frivolity, mayhem and depravity.

According to Jeanette,

If you have:

  • short horror stories
  • dark poetry
  • dark or creepily cute artwork
  • a film or book
  • or even a website, YouTube channel, or Etsy store

She would love to hear from you on her submissions/contact page at HorrorMade.com.

Coffin Hop 2015

Not only is Jeanette helping fellow talented individuals, Coffin Hop is also providing for children around the world via the book Coffin Hop: Death By Drive-In.

COFFIN HOP: DEATH BY DRIVE-IN is the first collection of stories from the ranks of the annual Coffin Hop online horror extravaganza” and all profits from it are donated to the worldwide children’s literacy charity, LitWorld.

Girl Reading

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Jeanette and everyone behind Coffin Hop for their generosity and for their delightfully dark entertainment.

Will you be taking part in this event?

Much Love,

Nena

  1. Love this post especially that the y make a difference by donating all profits from the book to worldwide children’s literacy charity. Just that im too much of a chicken for anything remotely scary…Thanks so much for sharing

  2. The Horror Genre scares the bejeebies out of me but it sounds like a great time for story sharing. Saw your Blog challenged from StephJ and I look forward to seeing the Thanksgiving post 🙂

  3. Thank you for sharing dear! I have to admit I am so scared and never go to horror movies or can’t read books like that 😀 I love halloween though, because I love witches (Harry Potter fan in me ;)). Love your posts, always so refreshing and unexpected :*

    • I understand completely! That’s why I like the spooky stuff because it can range from being fun and friendly like Harry Potter, Casper, and Hocus Pocus to really spine-tingling like Exorcist, Freddy, and Poltergeist.

  4. DO YOU GUYS WEAR COSTUMES FOR HOLLOWEEN? #appreciation.
