The month of December has come and gone, but sweet memories remain of the new and fun things we did together as a family. One of the things that was a first for us this past Christmas was visiting our local Christmas Castle!
The Hannah family puts together, along with many volunteers, a spectacular light and Christmas decoration display in the front lawn of their very home!
The lights are synchronized to holiday tunes and they also have a snow machine to make it feel even more magical.
Many have compared the Christmas Castle to that of Disney and, as if bringing such a delightful spirit to an entire community wasn’t enough, the Hannah family uses the Christmas Castle as a means to collect donations for autism awareness.
Our family, as well as many others, had our hearts filled with a little more Christmas spirit and joy with the Christmas Castle and we were especially warmed by the support for increasing autism awareness.
So to all those that help bring the Christmas Castle together,
You are ALL spectacular human beings!
The Christmas Castle is located at 12331 SW 109 Terrace, Miami, FL and operates throughout the month of December in the evenings. You can check out specific dates and times, as well as videos from past years, on their site:
