This month has been busier than I thought it would be so squeezing in workouts became a bit tough.

Although I would love to be able to fit in at least 25 minutes of exercise most days of the week, reality can sink in pretty quickly and having 25 minutes for anything can become a luxury.

I worked with the time I had and found these workouts that can be done in 20 minutes or less.

Day 1

My hubby was inspired to start exercising and he wanted to go to the gym in the clubhouse of our community. We both wanted to use the treadmill and we did this sweat fest of a workout from PopSugar:

We both got a really great workout from this and felt sore for a few days afterwards so be sure to stretch it out.

Day 2

After the treadmill workout I needed a nice stretch for my legs and I also wanted something to work on my flexibility since I started dancing again.

Using the blanket helped a lot to work with my current level of flexibility, which is not very good. LOL

I think I will be adding this video in at least once a week.

Day 3

For a quick arm workout I found this great little number:

The weights add in the extra intensity to this workout so you can do without them and still get an amazing exercise.

Day 4

There are tons of exercises that are 10 minutes or less with Blogilates and here is a leg workout that incorporates a HIIT format:

  1. Nena- I work on a campus. So, on fair days, I try and get off the bus before my actual stop and walk the rest of the way. I can get just shy of a 1/2 a mile walk in by doing this. Also, I work on the third floor and take the stairs. During bathroom breaks, I take the stairs to the first floor. Being I work in an office and sit for 8 hours a day, at least, this is some kind of movement throughout the day.

    • Love this!! You are a perfect example on how we can add some extra movement in our daily lives without compromising too much of our time. That is how we can best squeeze it in! Thanks for sharing what you do:)

    If there is one thing I have learned since I started blogging, is that no one can ever accomplish anything by themselves. It really takes a community to create a blog space. I am so grateful to those that follow FITTOSERVE and the beautiful exchange we have, this includes other bloggers who understand the need to support each other.
