“If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”
Most of us have the tendency to continue doing things where we get to reap the benefits of what we sow. Although paying it forward is not about receiving anything back, we all love to see the success of those we are giving to. Also, if we are doing something we are passionate about, paying it forward becomes our way of life instead of being out of our way.
Noonday has partnered with 29 artisan businesses via fair trade in 12 different countries to design handcrafted products, connect them with the global market, and empower them to grow sustainably.
Noonday also grants women the opportunity to become Ambassadors where they have their own business of selling the unique and beautifully handcrafted jewelry and accessories made by the artisan businesses as a means of supporting them.
As if the win-win situation for the Ambassadors and artisan businesses wasn’t enough, Noonday also supports family preservation by giving 10% of their sales in Adoptive Trunk Shows to help adoptive families bring their child home.
My lovely co-worker/friend and her lovely husband have been yearning for a child for years and have made the decision to adopt.
The long application process and impending costs can be a burden, but they are more than willing to do what it takes to become parents; and they will make wonderful ones!
One of the Noonday ambassadors is hosting an Adoptive Trunk Show to help fundraise for their future family and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to pay it forward to this amazing couple that would make awesome parents!

The Noonday Collection developed a system where paying it forward take on a huge impact and comes back full circle.
Thank you, Noonday!!
Your work opens our eyes to the light within each of us that we can share with the world.
I bought some great products from The Noonday Collection that will not only help my friend MJ, but will also support artisan businesses in Guatemala; where my mom is from.
How about you?
