June just screams summer and what I am looking forward to is being able to be outdoors more and explore!

We have an upcoming family trip at the end of the month to stay at a cabin in The Berkshires in Massachusetts and we are all beyond excited! I will be taking tons of pics to then share the experience with all of you.

Since the focus of this month is to get out and explore, I will be recapping my previous trips that I have desired to share for quite a while. I may also include any tips and ideas to make the best out of our summer adventures.

To recap on the month of May, I do have to say it was pretty awesome, or shall I say, Pawsome! I started the Pet Series where I have already shared the stories of my first puppy and my first kitty; Toby and Salem. There are more stories to come so stay tuned!

I shared what we did for Mother’s Day last year and this year we celebrated at one of my favorite places: The Tea Room.

This month is Father’s Day and we are already making fun plans for the celebration. I don’t have many pictures from our Father’s Day get together from last year, but I will round up what I have and share how we had a great party on a budget.

I mentioned the book Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die by Chip Heath & Dan Heath, however I have not even opened it! Instead, I have been reading more for pleasure and have been enjoying some really fun novels to unwind with at the end of the day.

Many fellow bloggers have launched their own books and I have purchased several so I can’t wait to start digging in to those as well. The following are some of the ones I bought and recommend (affiliate links*):

I want to thank all of you that continue to support Move It Monday and it truly warms my heart to see that many of you have been inspired by it 🙂 Although, the link party has not been working out as imagined, just yet, the Move It Monday posts are highly requested and looked forward to not just by you, but also by me.

I have not been as consistent with the Pay It Forward Fridays posts and I plan to work on that. My challenge this month is to start planning out my posts on paper, or on a virtual planner/calendar. Up until now I have been keeping a mental track on the posts, but I can be much more efficient if I plan things out and have a schedule.

If you have any advice on how you keep a steady flow with your tasks then please share your thoughts below; anything to help keep us all moving forward.

Let the heat of the summer warm your soul and the brightness of the sun penetrate your heart to reflect a joyous smile during the season that beckons rays of sunshine to linger.

Nena

In other words, make the best of this summer!

Where do you plan to explore?

Much Love,

Nena
